Creative Arts Corner:

The Forbidden Fruit by Robin Y.

Oh, how I long for this forbidden fruit
I know I should not eat of it
But how my body longs for it
I try my best not to think of it
But I catch myself daydreaming
Of the taste of it
I try to convince myself that
That maybe just take one bite
And it will be suffice.
I know that not to be true
Because my body craves this
Forbidden fruit too
And with one bite, the taste with its delight
Will consume my body
Until I eat it all night.
So, partaking in the eating of
The forbidden fruit will change my life forever
But lords know, how I yearn for this forbidden fruit
And I could care less about whatever
Just to taste the forbidden fruit
