“I believe that people need someone to understand their unique situation, and provide them with resources and services that fit them, not a formula. When people feel empowered, not ashamed, to ask for help when they need it, and to be able to make the accomplishments over their obstacles their own, it creates a confidence and attitude that breeds long-term success.”

Stephen grew up in eastern NC and graduated from NC State University with a degree in Psychology in 2000. After graduation, Stephen worked with pioneers in the autism field through Division TEACCH at UNC-Chapel Hill, then became the Capital Area Workforce Board’s Resource and Program Navigator for over 5 years.  When grant funding ended for this program, Stephen decided to follow a passion and tour the country as a professional disc golfer.  He returned to the human services field a few years later as the Supported Employment Supervisor with the Arc of the Triangle before joining Neuro Community Care.  Stephen is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist, and is committed to serving the Warriors that have sacrificed their lives for our country.  Stephen spends most of his free time with his wife and two young daughters.
