Leila has worked in the field of rehabilitation services for almost 20 years. She has served the developmental disabilities population not only in a residential setting but also within the criminal justice system, and she has worked with both adults and juveniles. Leila has spent her most recent 10 years in brain and spinal cord injury, focusing on staff and program management.

Leila graduated from McKendree College in Lebanon, IL in 2006 with a BA in Psychology and Sociology and a minor in Criminal Justice. She received her CBIS in 2012.
