Case Manager

Randi graduated with a degree in Social Work from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale in 1994. She worked with children and teens as a Case Manager in the areas of child protective services and substance abuse treatment and prevention. In 2004, she began working full-time as a Paramedic in Onslow County, NC near Camp LeJeune, and then for the Department of the Army at Ft. Bragg. During that time, she responded frequently to emergencies involving veterans with TBI and PTSD. This led to an interest in working directly with patients recovering from brain injuries, and she later joined the staff at NCC in 2016. This allowed Randi to combine her case management experience and emergency services skills, while continuing to serve our veteran population. She lives in Wake Forest, NC and enjoys cooking, baking, reading, time at the beach, and diving.

“A brain injury is devastating and life changing. Survivors of TBI and their families work exceptionally hard to recover as they adjust to the unexpected changes in their lives. Hearing their stories is an honor. Helping them to create new goals, develop a plan, and witness the discovery of new strengths and abilities is inspiring.”
